The man behind the antiques
Hasselt Vintage was founded by Rene T. in 2021.
His hobby in collecting antiques began in his early to mid 20’s, where he wandered around fleemarkets and garagesales, hoping to find unique goods he could be proud of bringing home.
Throughout the years, this hobby became more of a passion, which he quickly persued together with his wife, Ann G.
For the two, this ment having to wake up at unbearable hours in the weekends in the hopes of finding a piece of modern history.
As the stock of goods expanded, he had to transfer more & more to small warehouses or storage spaces lent by family and friends.
Eventually, he began selling most of his items on third party websites, which eventually led to the beginning of Hasselt Vintage.
